A block rooms has been reserved at the Marriott Renaissance Asheville Hotel in Asheville, North Carolina for Wednesday through Saturday, July 18-23, 2018, to accommodate our meeting. You will need to guarantee your room reservation for any arrival after 4:00 p.m. We have been given a group rate of $174.00 for a SINGLE or a DOUBLE and includes complimentary internet in all guest rooms. Please make your own room arrangements in order to keep your personal expenses at a minimum. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out is 11:00 am. Attendees arriving before check-in time will be accommodated as rooms become available. There is free parking at the hotel.

 

The Renaissance Asheville Hotel is located at One Thomas Wolfe Plaza, Asheville, NC 28801. Located in the heart of Asheville, it is within sight of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Just outside the doors of the hotel you will find gallery shopping for art, crafts and handmade jewelry as well as unique boutiques, scores of outstanding restaurants, bistros and street cafes.

 

You may make your reservations by booking online, or calling the hotel directly at (828) 252-8211 or (800) 266-9432. Be sure to request the SERGG group rate. The block of rooms will be held until June 27, 2018. Please reserve your room IMMEDIATELY in order to assure accommodation. After this date, the hotel will release the rooms for general sale. This hotel does not provide shuttle service. For alternate ground transportation call (828) 681-0051. Estimated taxi fare is $40.00.

The Marriott Renaissance Asheville Hotel is located approximately 15 miles north of Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) which is serviced by Continental, Delta, Northwest and US Airways. Traveling from the airport, take I-26 West to I-240 East. Exit 5-A, Merrimon Avenue. Turn left on Broadway, turn left again on Woodfin Street. The Hotel is two blocks on the right.

Haunted Asheville Classic Walking Tour

Smith-McDowell House Museum

Built by one of antebellum North Carolina's most influential citizens, the Smith-McDowell House was once the home of mayors, a Civil War major, and friends of the Vanderbilts. Thomas Wolfe Memorial
